Pagerank 8! I’m over the moon!

How good can this get? I am smiling and laughing while writing this post. The Google Pagerank checker on my Google Toolbar read 8! I can’t believe it and I have never dreamed of this happening, especially when a lot of famous blog’s PR are decreasing. If you don’t believe me, then take a look at the screenshot below. I also want to note that this blog is just 4 months old and previously.
My Pagerank may change again and go back to 5 but it is nice to capture the best moment!

Well, I think you just confirmed that it is a glitch. Also I checked it with page rank checker and it was 5. But is was still good to capture that moment.

Yes, I am very happy. And the very strange thing is that I have been receiving a consistent 8 over the past few days which may prove that the 8 was not a glitch!

yeah, that’s a glitch… even in my blog, at times the report is a PR 5 but the truth is there’s nothing into it yet. this happens all the time particularly when I just visited a site with a high PR

@parag arora - The pagerank is for the homepage, not a specific post

Page Rank is all over the map these days especially when it comes to the volatile content streams of blogs. What you should be more focused on is the solid content you produce and the fact you have almost 1,000 inbound links referencing your blog in some form or another. This is staying power and will continue to grow for you as the content increases.

The Google toolbar on Firefox does seem to be a little slow at showing the PageRank of a page (about a few seconds delay).
