Use small icons on your start menu

Question: How can I have smaller icons on my Windows Start Menu?

Answer: You can make the icons on your Start Menu smaller by doing the following:
Windows XP – 1) Right-click the Start menu and click ‘Properties‘.
2) Click the Start menu tab and then click the ‘Customize‘ button.
3) Click the General tab, tick ‘Small Icons‘, and then click ‘OK‘ twice.

Windows Vista - 1) Right-click the Start menu and click ‘Properties‘.
2) Click the Start menu tab and then click the ‘Customize‘ button.
3) Int he scroll down menu, untick ‘Use Large Icons‘ (should be at the bottom) and then click ‘OK‘ twice.
